A Safe and Stimulating Space for Babies

Our baby room is designed for babies for our littlest of learners, offering a calm, nurturing environment where they can explore, learn, and grow. With a 1:3 staff-to-baby ratio, our experienced team provides personalised, play-based care guided by the EYFS framework.

The room features open-floor space for gross motor play, a dedicated sleep and sensory area for rest and early sensory development, and carefully planned activities to support fine and gross motor skills. Outdoor education is also included, with daily outdoor play, nature exploration, and early forest school experiences to promote well-being and curiosity.

Mini Athletics takes the children on a amazing journey in athletic movement. They are introduced to the basics of athletic movement skills (running, jumping, throwing) in a play based yet structured format. Children are encouraged to develop athletic skills that are fundamental to their early physical development. In addition, the exercises build cognitive and social skills, preparing them for the early learning goals.

✨ Exciting News at Monkey Puzzle Horsham ✨

We’re delighted to announce that from 18th May, the wonderful Molly Moocow will be joining us at Monkey Puzzle Horsham as part of our extracurricular activities 🐮💛

@mollymoocowmoosic delivers vibrant, interactive sessions filled with music, movement, singing, storytelling, drama and role play. Creating magical learning experiences for our children every week 🎶✨

Inspired by the Montessori approach, each session is carefully designed to support every stage of development; from sensory exploration for babies to imaginative play for older toddlers. Using puppets, percussion instruments, props and play parachutes, the sessions encourage children to build confidence, coordination, creativity and social skills, all while having lots of fun!

We can’t wait to see our children learning, laughing and making wonderful memories together.

Our nursery was filled with imagination as the children arrived dressed as their favourite book characters. From brave heroes to magical creatures, every costume brought a story to life! 🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️

The children spent the day sharing their favourite stories, exploring new books, and celebrating the joy of reading together. It was wonderful to see their creativity and excitement for books shining through.

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Horsham, is proudly located in the heart of Horsham in the RH13 postal sector. The nursery is on Godwin Road, on the site of the old Roffey Youth Centre. We’re just round the corner from the Roffey Post Office and The Master Fryer. Horsham Railway Station is a 20 minute walk away and a short drive from the A264.
